The fill type depends on how long since your last appointment, not just how long the appointment takes. Within 2 weeks, most of your extensions are still in place — the 60-minute fill restores the look. Between 2 and 3.5 weeks, more natural shedding has happened, so the 90-minute fill is needed to restore the work. Beyond 3.5 weeks, a full set is needed instead. Schedule the right fill for your timing and the appointment runs smoothly.

A few habits keep your extensions at their best: avoid water for the first 24 hours after application, use only oil-free cleansers and makeup removers near the eyes, don't pick or rub, brush gently with a clean spoolie each morning, and skip waterproof mascara. Sleeping on your back or using a contoured pillow helps when you can. Your technician can recommend a lash-safe cleanser and walk you through anything specific to your routine.

Yes — with one note: avoid oil-based products near the eyes. Oil breaks down the adhesive and shortens the life of your extensions. Cream eyeshadows, oil-based primers, and waterproof mascara are the main offenders. Powder shadows and oil-free liquid liners work fine. Many guests skip mascara entirely once they have extensions — the volume is already there.

It's uncommon but can happen. Allergic reactions to lash adhesive usually show up within 24-48 hours as itching, redness, or swelling around the lash line.
